First, there are many tax advantages in having you own home business. Anything you are using in your office is an expense of your business. They pride themselves for their mentoring and support for their distributors. Their support is provided by two upline Rainmakers (Top Position) directly above our business. They provide twice weekly live conference calls and provide full time coaching and support.

They also have a lead program that they use for their new distributors from the Cutting Edge Media. Lead systems are used by nearly every Network Marketing company. Each distributor is encouraged to order leads. Then they are to contact them by phone and have them listen to a call. This can be followed up with a 3-way with their upline and are then signed up in their business. It all sounds simple. However this is very mis-leading.

Leads are the way most people resort to after they have gone through the list their sponsor asked them to write. You remember the list of the 100 people they know. It sounds like it is a great way to go. Soon you will have exhausted your list and now you want to know what to do. Your sponsor suggests you buy leads. You assume when you buy leads that these people are ones that are interested in building a business. They filled out information and it was sent to you as was stated. You were given a price and you have every reason to think that this is the best way to go.

You know what it takes to make money and you know sponsoring people is what it takes. They fail to tell you that about 90% of these leads will never be there when you call. And when you do finally find someone home, they often are rude and not good prospects. You wouldn't even want them in your downline. The rejection you feel can overwhelm you. It is far from a rewarding situation.

Using leads, no matter which lead company you use, is a very hard way to promote your business. Leads are the largest expense for a distributor. You have to make many calls before you find anyone to talk with. Often when you finally find someone there, they are not happy to talk with you. Many insist they did not ask for information and they are very annoyed for your call. You may get cursed at or humiliated in different ways. You may wish you had training on making calls, and if you had it really wouldn't help a great deal.

The phone is often talked about as weighing 100 pounds, because it is so hard to pick up and start making calls. Most of the leads are people who don't want to know anything about a home business. You usually can't find them home or they are not answering their phone. If they do answer, some are looking for a free business. Others do not want to talk to you at all. And a few will listen and may become interested. Your percentage for success is very low.

When I buy customers, I do not have to make phone calls to people I do not know. I do not have anyone throwing off negativity. I wake up in the morning feeling happy and ready for a new day. I do not have anything to dread, just look forward to success. My customers buy product and I make money from the sale. I can grow my list of customers without any problem.
